  3. Proposal to add Thai language to the app

Hi everyone! Iโ€™d like to suggest adding the Thai language to the app. I believe it would be a helpful and valuable additionโ€”not just for me, but for many other users as well. Why is it a good idea? Thai is spoken by over 60 million people. Thailand is a popular destination for travelers, expats, and digital nomads. But thereโ€™s more: in recent years, there has been a huge global rise in interest in Thai BL (Boys' Love) series, which are attracting a large and passionate international audience. Learning Thai would allow fans to enjoy content in the original language and feel more connected to the culture. Who would benefit? Fans of BL series and Thai pop culture Travelers, expats, and retirees living or planning to move to Thailand Students of Asian languages People with Thai partners or friends Anyone looking to expand their language skills in a fun and meaningful way How would I like it to work? Just like other languages already available on the app: Lessons focused on common phrases, high-frequency vocabulary, and basic grammar Interactive practice with listening, reading, writing, and speaking A gradual introduction to the Thai script, with transliteration options for beginners Culturally relevant content (greetings, formal vs. informal language, customs, etc.) I really hope Thai will be consideredโ€”interest is growing every day, and it would be a fantastic resource for a wide range of users! Thank you for your attention ๐Ÿ™

  4. Vocabulary Trainer

I often struggle to remember and use new words. I want a vocabulary trainer that's part of the game, so that it becomes easier for me to learn, recall, and confidently use a wider range of words in my conversations.

  5. Add gender or pronouns to my profile

I would like the avatars to know I'm a woman, I keep being misgendered in Spanish ๐Ÿ˜„

  6. Shopping centre/ mall

I think with the grocery store location being added a location for a shopping mall would be good where you can have conversations with staff members, stores for different things for e.g. a shoe store, perfume store or a store for suits or everyday clothes. There's so many different subtopics you could add in a mall location

  7. New city - Mogadishu (Somali)

A lot of Somalis are looking to be more conversational. While most understand we struggle to speak and this would be a great way for us to practice

  8. Pronunciation Feedback

I want the game to give me immediate feedback on my pronunciation, so that I can learn from my mistakes and feel more assured that I'm speaking correctly.

  9. School Location

I want a dedicated 'school level' in the game that focuses specifically on practicing various aspects of grammar, so that I can target my weak points, understand grammatical structures better, and become more proficient in using the language correctly.

  10. Real News

I would like to suggest to include current events or major news within Sweden or around the world in the topics under nyheter mission. As of the moment, it seems to always talk about climate problem. A little bit of variety on the topics would be amazing.

  12. Create Your Own Characters

I often want to tell the character who to be so that itโ€™ll be directly applicable to my life. That would be so amazing. For example, I havenโ€™t met a kid character yet and I wanted to practice telling the kids I teach chorus that I learned a bit of their language and to try teaching in the language. The Free Talk is nice because you can choose to talk about music for example, but the character wonโ€™t pretend to be 5 and in a music class for you. Anyway, I understand if thatโ€™s too hard to implement and I appreciate the space to make suggestions!

  13. Salon/Barber Location

I think this would be useful because many people go to a hair salon/barber shop regularly. A language barrier is also very stressful at a salon or barber shop, and it requires some specialized vocabulary if you want a specific thing done. You could make it just hair, or you could have different people there that talk about nail and spa stuff too in order to add some variety to it.

  14. Celebrity avatars (historical figures)

Ask Einstein to explain the theory of relativity in German, chat with Edith Piaf about what inspired her songs in French or have a conversation with Astrid Lindgren and tell her what you think about her famous Swedish children's stories. Broaden your cultural and historical knowledge in your target language in a fun and interesting way.

  15. Vacation vs Immigration Mode

As an immigrant, I have completely different requirements for learning a language than a vacationer. In addition to everyday things (restraurant, cafe, movie theater, shopping, grocery shopping, pharmacy,...) that would also affect me as a vacationer, there are, for example, visits to the authorities, housing, labor market, taxes (...).
