"Texting" with your AI learning buddy
The same way Duolingo and others allow for "streak freezes" which are a form of lenience on the routine of practice, I think it would be cool if LL allowed you to (maybe 3 times a month) use a "joker" to text with your AI avatars (or texting a loop provides waaaay less points/coins or something). Not as a replacement for speaking, but moreso for: the times when you can't speak out loud for 8 minutes and it's easier to textlearning how to text in general (my wife pointed out she can speak really well in German but can't text cause of the accents, same in Spanish)

School Location
I want a dedicated 'school level' in the game that focuses specifically on practicing various aspects of grammar, so that I can target my weak points, understand grammatical structures better, and become more proficient in using the language correctly.

Phone Call Mode
It would be interesting to practice shorter phone calls; order, make appointments, etc...

Shopping centre/ mall
I think with the grocery store location being added a location for a shopping mall would be good where you can have conversations with staff members, stores for different things for e.g. a shoe store, perfume store or a store for suits or everyday clothes. There's so many different subtopics you could add in a mall location

Vocabulary Trainer
I often struggle to remember and use new words. I want a vocabulary trainer that's part of the game, so that it becomes easier for me to learn, recall, and confidently use a wider range of words in my conversations.

Pronunciation Feedback
I want the game to give me immediate feedback on my pronunciation, so that I can learn from my mistakes and feel more assured that I'm speaking correctly.

Create Your Own Characters
I often want to tell the character who to be so that itβll be directly applicable to my life. That would be so amazing. For example, I havenβt met a kid character yet and I wanted to practice telling the kids I teach chorus that I learned a bit of their language and to try teaching in the language. The Free Talk is nice because you can choose to talk about music for example, but the character wonβt pretend to be 5 and in a music class for you. Anyway, I understand if thatβs too hard to implement and I appreciate the space to make suggestions!

Higher-level feedback
Right now we already have nice granular feedback on each line of a conversation, but it can sometimes be a little daunting to step through and review everything step by step. It would be really nice to also get feedback on the conversation as a whole - pointing out things like common repeated mistakes, monotony, and anything else that takes the full conversation into account. I am thinking something more longform than the grammar and fluency scores we currently get - more like text-based AI-generated critique. Likewise, feedback on all conversations that you've had so far could also be really interesting to keep an eye on overall progress. (In the interim, being able to export our conversations to do this ourselves could also work!)

Celebrity avatars (historical figures)
Ask Einstein to explain the theory of relativity in German, chat with Edith Piaf about what inspired her songs in French or have a conversation with Astrid Lindgren and tell her what you think about her famous Swedish children's stories. Broaden your cultural and historical knowledge in your target language in a fun and interesting way.

Vacation vs Immigration Mode
As an immigrant, I have completely different requirements for learning a language than a vacationer. In addition to everyday things (restraurant, cafe, movie theater, shopping, grocery shopping, pharmacy,...) that would also affect me as a vacationer, there are, for example, visits to the authorities, housing, labor market, taxes (...).

Dark Mode
As a frequent player, especially during evenings and nights, I often find the standard bright interface straining to my eyes in low-light conditions. I want a dark mode option in the game, so that I can continue learning comfortably without eye strain, making my language practice sessions more enjoyable and sustainable.

City Hall Location
A place to practice more formal interactions and important topics like taxes, immigration process, how the countries government works... I'm imagining being able to talk to bureaucrats working for the city, about a variety of subjects in the administrative/legal space.
