  1. School Location

I want a dedicated 'school level' in the game that focuses specifically on practicing various aspects of grammar, so that I can target my weak points, understand grammatical structures better, and become more proficient in using the language correctly.

  2. Travel & Transport practice

I think being able to practice being in areas like in a taxi, train station, airport, bus or hotel would be useful for both people on vacation or migrants.

  3. Delete Avatars from Relationship List

The Relationships list can get really big once you start meeting a lot of avatars. It would be helpful to be able to manage this list better by deleting avatars from the list we no longer want to maintain a relationship with or so that we can remove avatars that we have become 'friends' or 'best friends' with. That way, we can clear space on our relationship list for meeting new avatars.

  4. Vocabulary Trainer

I often struggle to remember and use new words. I want a vocabulary trainer that's part of the game, so that it becomes easier for me to learn, recall, and confidently use a wider range of words in my conversations.

  5. Pronunciation Feedback

I want the game to give me immediate feedback on my pronunciation, so that I can learn from my mistakes and feel more assured that I'm speaking correctly.

  6. Hands-free mode

Enable people to use LingoLooper hands-free with voice control, for instance when driving a car.

  7. "Texting" with your AI learning buddy

The same way Duolingo and others allow for "streak freezes" which are a form of lenience on the routine of practice, I think it would be cool if LL allowed you to (maybe 3 times a month) use a "joker" to text with your AI avatars (or texting a loop provides waaaay less points/coins or something). Not as a replacement for speaking, but moreso for: the times when you can't speak out loud for 8 minutes and it's easier to textlearning how to text in general (my wife pointed out she can speak really well in German but can't text cause of the accents, same in Spanish)

  8. Higher-level feedback

Right now we already have nice granular feedback on each line of a conversation, but it can sometimes be a little daunting to step through and review everything step by step. It would be really nice to also get feedback on the conversation as a whole - pointing out things like common repeated mistakes, monotony, and anything else that takes the full conversation into account. I am thinking something more longform than the grammar and fluency scores we currently get - more like text-based AI-generated critique. Likewise, feedback on all conversations that you've had so far could also be really interesting to keep an eye on overall progress. (In the interim, being able to export our conversations to do this ourselves could also work!)

  9. Create Your Own Characters

I often want to tell the character who to be so that itโ€™ll be directly applicable to my life. That would be so amazing. For example, I havenโ€™t met a kid character yet and I wanted to practice telling the kids I teach chorus that I learned a bit of their language and to try teaching in the language. The Free Talk is nice because you can choose to talk about music for example, but the character wonโ€™t pretend to be 5 and in a music class for you. Anyway, I understand if thatโ€™s too hard to implement and I appreciate the space to make suggestions!

  10. Daily/Weekly Quests

I appreciate having clear, specific objectives to guide my learning. I want quests in the game that set concrete goals, like achieving certain performance metrics or practicing specific scenarios, so that I can focus on tangible targets, making my language learning more structured, measurable, and rewarding.

  11. Download all transcripts for a language

It would be great to be able to download all transcripts for a language, to be able to review and study them later!

  12. Explanation of the point-scoring system

I can see when my points increase, but I don't understand the mechanism behind the system. More immediate responses, yes - I understand that feeds into the score I get, but even if I know I've butchered the pronunciation of a word, I still get a good score. A breakdown of why I get what I get would be amazing (even if it's just an FAQ).

  13. Adjust formality level

I learn Polish and everything is in the informal level in the conversations. This is not realistic as daily interactions are way more formal, e.g. in public life such as shopping. There should be different formality levels for different avatars.

  14. Streak save

Iโ€™m just going to be honest: I want a streak save, please. Iโ€™m on day 72, I think, for two reasons: I really enjoy this app as I like how you can continue conversations with characters and I really enjoy practicing my languages. I think this app is perfect as it is. The thing is Iโ€™m really sick right now, laryngitis, and I canโ€™t speak for the life of me, and it doesnโ€™t look like Iโ€™m going to be able to speak soon. So Iโ€™m doing all kind of ridiculous things to keep my streak, which for some reason, is pretty important to me as you can understand๐Ÿ™‚โ€โ†•๏ธ. So Mr. LingoLooper, can we have something as simple as a pause button ? Please? Thank you.

  15. Tags/Labels for Bookmarks

I think this would be super useful! I currently have over 300 bookmarked Japanese words. I truly appreciate the current system, which allows me to filter words based on mastery level and type, and search based on definition. However, I struggle with two things: While doing a loop, for instance, I often find myself forgetting the words I have bookmarked and want to practice. With the current system, it's really hard to filter through all of them or search based on the word/meaning because I don't remember them in the first place. Exporting also becomes a little inconvenient because I have to filter through all the words again to pick the ones I want to add to Anki. I try not to add more than 5-10 at a time so that my deck doesn't pile up. I wish to be able to: Add several tags (if possible) and access the bookmarks by label: e.g., "Travel" for words related to customs, "Food" for words related to food ingredients, etc., or "All" if I feel like going through all the words.Export based on tags. Overall, I'm loving the bookmark system, but this addition would make it twice as useful. Thanks!
